Lake Forest Family Session
A few years ago I was booked by Bianca to do a mermaid themed cake smash session for her little girl named Addison.
A few years later Bianca booked me again. This time for a circus themed cake smash session for Addison’s little brother, Derek.
Now, another few years later, I got to photograph Bianca and Luis’s entire family including Addison and Derek’s brand new baby brother Devon!
The weather was not the warmest on this particular morning. It had rained the day prior and we were all worried that it would be too cold for the baby. With lots of luck the weather was just right. No rain and the cold wasn’t too much for the little guy.
Bianca has gotten her kids so comfortable with posing for pictures, I almost felt like my job was way too easy that day.
Derek was such a charmer with his adorable smile. I couldn’t help but squeal with excitement every time he showed the camera his beaming smile. His charisma definitely took the spotlight.
Even though Addie was quiet and had more of a shy personality she was also very photogenic. She showed how much she loves her little brothers. She was so gentle and very caring while holding her baby brother Devon. It was so clear to see how much she loves him by the way that she wanted to hold his hand or his little foot whenever he was near her.
I’ll admit that baby Devon caught me off guard when he cracked that huge smile! So teeny tiny and already showing off such a happy personality! He was definitely the cherry on top of this beautiful family portrait session.
Of course I couldn’t end the session without giving Bianca and Luis a five minute honey moon. When you have 3 children, you’ll take any amount of time to be alone. Don’t they look so romantic!?
All together the Avila family pulled off their family session like a breeze. I was so happy with the way everything flowed and came together perfectly.
