Hiltscher Park Trail, or as we call it, Fullerton Trail is our most requested location for Maternity Sessions. It must be the trees and the trails. You’d never know that joggers and bicyclists are all over this location too. So it was no surprise when Deandra picked this for her maternity session too. It’s the perfect place!

My husband and I share a special date with Deandra and Juan. Last year we were in different hospitals but we were sharing the same experience. We welcomed two very adorable baby boys. Our youngest baby, Lukas and their first born, Moses share the same birthday! It’s so crazy how they were supposed to be about a month apart in age but things changed for both of us. Moses decided he was too comfy to leave his womb and Lukas thought 8 months on the inside was enough.

Fast forward almost one year later, now these two love birds are about to welcome a baby brother for Moses! When they arrived to the photo shoot, Deandra and I immediately began to chit chat all about our birth stories. We also talked about the emotional rollercoasters that a company pregnancy and motherhood. Even though our stories are different there is just something exciting about sharing those experiences with other moms. It’s so important to know that we are not alone. Going through pregnancy and having multiple children can be so stressful and VERY emotional. Sharing your struggles and also your parenting wins can be liberating and really make you feel so much better about yourself.

Deandra, Juan and Moses were so fun to be around. Even though this was our first time meeting Juan and Moses, my husband and Nathan were talking like old pals. Deandra has such a fun personality that it was hard not to join her with some good laughs. Oh and baby Moses was melting our hearts with those gorgeous eyes and that smile! I have to say my favorite part of the session was when Deandra and Juan shared how much Moses likes the movie “Secret Life of Pets 2” and how his favorite character is the Busy Bee. I just simple said “Moses! Busy Bee!” and boom he would smile from ear to ear! Easiest baby to work with, hands down. His company had me missing my baby and had me running home to my little Lukas to smother him with kisses!
